I know that a symbol on a mask layer can be animated to give you sorta a
spotlight effect, lighting up only the area under the spotlight for instance. I
just dont want to animate the mask, I want it to be draggable so the user can
controll the spotlight....hmmm... I am sure I have seen this effect sumwheres
before, I though make the place a movie clip onto the mask layer and make the
movieclip draggable.....but it doesnt work. Dragging the background will not be
a viable option....its the spotlight thats gotta drag ...anyone have any idea on
how to create this effect ?
Oliver ...what is it you need for that databse ?

Hi mBain,
that's right,
it's not possible todrag masked layer's
like animated masks-it's not possible.
Maybe it's asolution for you to drag the layer under the mask?
so long Oliver
P.S.
I need an ASP or cgi script to write a textfile to use a database like the
one you send to me.
Any resources you share?
btw
my project is ready
