Yes, set the Loop parameter in the Sound Properties window to 4 or 5, and
set the Effect to Fade Out. Click the Zoom Out icon near the bottom until
you can see all 4 or 5 repetions of the file, and then drag the amplitude
envelope handles until the fade out starts occuring after the third
reptition.
THe audio won't sync with the movie unless you set the sound file's Sync
parameter to Stream. In this case the file size will suffer because the
sound file will continue to stream for all 4 or 5 repetitions, so you get no
benefit from looping.

Subject: FLASH: Sound Loop Fade Out
Is it possible to have a sound file loop three times and then fade out?
The audio isn't syncing up with the movie exactly so it's hard to place a
keyframe to start the same loop with a fade at the end of the the three
loops.
Any suggestions?
