And how fortunate you are that you are on *this* list, because, as far as I
can tell, Macromedia has no intention of sending a similar alert to any of
the 4 other lists that I know of, nor to their own macromedia.flash
newsgroup!
I know for a fact that Macromedia has the capacity to whip out an email to
all prior purchasers of Flash.
Would it be a vast stretch for Macromedia to email all known Flash users
about this mess?
Is it not true that we now need to design *around* this buggy player? I'll
be looking for some tutorials! (Sorry, can't write 'em yet.)
I dunno, maybe I just wasn't nurtured enough when I was young, but this
*really* seems to be MM doing its best to sweep things under the carpet. If
it's only me and two or three others voicing concern about the way
Macromedia is handling this, they'll figure that they're doing just fine.
Hello? Anyone else out there?
I'll be happy to shut up if anyone whose opinion I even *might* respect ...
you know who you are! ... would email me privately and point out the
fallacies in my thinking.
Otherwise, I may never stop.
I haven't even hit the caffeine today. Not yet, that is ...
Respectfully,
Ken Sherwood
