Thats not a bad idea .........I will certainly give it a shot .....but how do I
make the "hole" in it ???? even if I make it alpha 0 ...wonr it just then show
the background of the movieclip ...instead of showing through it ???

Maybe you can approzimate what you want with alpha settings. Make a movie
clip with a solid background and a transparent whole in the center of it,
and then drag that around.

unfortunately i dont know anything about perl and CGI ...sorry.
