Other suggestions so far are good, but if you can find an outline font you 

will save a lot in file size. When Flash uses fonts, it only needs to 

remember the shape of each letter once. If you break the letters apart, or 

bring them in as bitmaps, Flash needs to remember the shape of each letter 

each time it is used. If you have a lot of text, this will make a real 

difference in file size.
