Yup. Works great as long as all your content is importable to flash (ie
no QT/AVI video unless it can be converted to still frame animation and
still play well).

Some caveats:
1) use High quality graphics, flash doesn't scale graphics as well as
some, and low quality graphics suffer much more. 2) Use several linked
swfs if your fla's sizes will get over 50-100mb, we've had trouble with
very large files on both MacOS and NT.

We've done a randomized quiz in flash (~130 different questions,
scoring, randomized load order and grouping) on one educational CD
(along with Director content that was typically difficult to get fonts
to display right and linked media to stay linked) and a large (several
hundred slide) show covering eco-tourism, which is now wending its way
around South America, without player problems nor font problems (it was
originally in PPT;-).

But check to be sure you don't need Director specific features first;
it is nice to avoid all the Director specific problems;-)...
