Hi,


I meant that IE on the mac doesn't support Javascript plug-in detection

(thanks Bill). I've been struggling with this for a while, looking for a

way to automatically serve my audience the Flash pages when they have the

appr. plug-in, or else serve them an html alternative. The best I've found

so far to achieve this (as far as I've seen until now) is to use the tip

from Macromedia, # 14086, which describes a "technique for detecting the

Flash Player that does not require any type of JavaScript; the detection is

done using a Flash movie itself."

But I'll gladly accept better ways to achieve the same. What I at least

find important is that no one browsing my site gets any errors, be it on

windows or mac platform.
