Yep, make an invisible button. Create a button, leave the Up, Over and Down
frames empty, and put a rectangle the size of your movie in the hit state.
Drag it on the stage and position it to cover the entire stage, and you're
set.

I would like to make a movie that would respond to a mouse click anywhere on
the movie at any time during the movie linking to a URL. Can I make the
background clickable?
