FLASH: Trouble centering a scaled movie clip

Hi all,


This is  a simple concept that may be difficult to explain so here we go...


I have a movie clip (called "mapsource") which contain a map and is quite

large.  I have it placed on stage behind and mask layer.  I have a slider

clip which sets the Xscale and Yscale of the mapsource clip.  The user can

zoom into the map and click on it to drag it around inside the mask viewing

different parts up close.


The problem:  when zoomed in close and a user drags to any corner, when the

user then zooms back out to full size, the map does not center inside the

mask window and it's edges can be seen.  I can't seem to wrap my head around

the math required to center up the mapsource clip if it has been dragged off

center.


Anybody have a method I can use?  The scale range for the mapsource clip is

from 35% (full view) to 220% (max zoom).
