FLASH: Selection ??

In Flash 4 if you selected a range of cells and inserted Keyframe, Flash 

created a keyframe in each of the selected cells.  I was just reading in a 

book that Flash 5 does the same, but I haven't been able to get that function 

to work?  Has anyone had any luck with that?  Why would they remove that 

feature? 


Some of the action Panels also seem to create more work than the simple 

modifiers that we had before, especially the text modifiers.  They used to be 

so simple right there as soon as you clicked any text, now you've got to go 

to a panel with a pull down menu, it's really very counter productive.  If 

they wanted panels why couldn't they leave all the modifiers on the tool bar 

as well?  Argghhh!!
