When you Publish from Flash 5 with Flash4 selected in the Publish
Settings, Flash should show you each line that won't work in Flash 4.
For example, for the following 3 lines in frame 1:
set (x, 5);
var y = 1;
var c = atan2(30);
I get this in the output window when I try to publish as Flash 4:
Scene=Scene 1, Layer=Layer 1, Frame=1: Line 2: You must export your
movie as Flash 5 to use this action.
var y = 1;
Scene=Scene 1, Layer=Layer 1, Frame=1: Line 3: You must export your
movie as Flash 5 to use this action.
var c = atan2(30);
Does your movie work in Flash 5 and not Flash 4, but not give you any
error messages in the output window when you publish as F4? (Never seen
such a case myself).
Regards,
Helen
