Hello
Im having problems passing user entered text variables between MCs
(not loaded movies) in Flash 5.
Can anyone point me towards a tutorial covering this subject?
The Flash 5 help doesnt seem to cover it.
The structure is as follows:
MAIN TIMELINE - Button action as follows:
I MC1/MC2/MC3:name2 = MC1:name;
I
I
I
MC1 - variable "name" entered here
(text field assigned variable "name")
I
I
MC2
I
I
MC3 - variable "name' displayed here
I (text field assigned variable "name2")
Probably way out but I've tried every way I can think of.
Any help will be very gratefully received.
Thanks
J
