go to the publish settings (file menu) and check the jpeg compression
(default is 50%), make sure its up high for good quality (but watch the .swf
file size).
A good tip is to import images using a completely uncompressed format to
start with (.pct or similar) and let flash do the compression... If you
import a compressed image (ie a jpeg) then let flash compress it again it'll
look pap. ;o)

Subject: RE: FLASH: Getting Clear Pictures
I'm having a lot of trouble importing pictures into flash
and maintaining their quality. What is the best way to
show Clear/crisp pictures - jpg,gif or whatever????
What is the prefered way of importing them? Cut and Paste
from Photoshop? or import from file?
Please Help.
