the best way to do this is to get an xml bridge dll from microsoft (if on
nt/2k) and put it in the server config. then you can dump the database to
dynamic xml files. flash should be able to import them then, but the only
other way I know to import data is to pull in a txt file, which you could
also make the server generate. sorry.

I would like to bypass any ASP or XML pages and go directly to the database.
Can flash read and write to a database?
Any tutorials out there? I've searched Flashkit.com and some of the links
listed there but they use ASP pages.
