Check to see if you are tracing anything. I had the same experience last
night...thought I had to significantly redesign a large portion of my
program because it was noticably choppy and slow compared to an earlier
version....I tried a couple of things before simply erasing the trace
commands then it ran very well. Also the choppiness was happening with or
without the output window visible.
