Thanks for the word that your Mac is functioning normally now. For my own
knowledge, which of the frequently-reposted diagnostics changed the symptom
there?
(Sidenote: We're seeing reports of display differences with this week's
MacOS9.1, with its updated ATI Rage video drivers. Mostly this occurs with
changes to Dreamweaver's QuickTime-based image rendering, but there's also
a single report that requesting Flash 5 Rulers makes the screen go white. I
don't yet know whether adjusting that video driver's acceleration,
colordepth, or resolution changes the symptom, or whether going back to the
previous ATI video drivers changes the symptom. Just an emerging config
issue, that's all.)
