I use www.iWebMerchant.com

1) they are real people who really help you thru it
2) they offer two plans of shopping
3) they can hook on to whatever you design
4) their rates are monthly, so your client isn't locked into something
forever if it doesn't work
5) they offer a marketing plan
6) they take you from small hosting to large commerce sites, with steps in
between

Ask for Vince or Jason and mention my name, Isabel Smith.

I just started with them and I'm sure the intro will be welcome {I don't
think I get anything back, they never mentioned it --- but every business
likes to know how you ''found'' them -- and word-of-mouth really is a great
way, especially on the web}
