I can tell that you had fun with this...lots of little toys and complicated
navigation....I think that it could work, but you have some problems...
Your images in general were way over compressed...very muttled from jpeg
compression.
Your main navigator was odd to me. Some of the boxes stayed on the left
after I clicked them and some of them didn't. I gathered that they were
telling me that the drop down menu on top for that area was activated...but
then there was no way to deactivate it. It wouldn't be that big a deal if
the boxes didn't actually interfere with what was the display and if they
told me something, like which box or area I happened to be in or even the
history...instead of whether a drop down menu is activated which, as a
viewer, I would assume to automatically happen if I clicked into that area.
(Does this make sense?) Generally, if you are going to go through the
effort to create a sophisticated navigator like yours you should instill
some useful information with it so people have a reason to keep looking at
it.
Also, you brought up four little menus on top of the display area when I
clicked "contact"....moving or closing four menus just to continue looking
at your work is not a good thing.
The text for the menus at the top were illegible without actually getting
closer to the screen (and squinting).
Your link back to the main menu blends in a bit too well. I found myself
searching for the main menu. (A color shift may be all that you need).
Hope this helps,
Scott
