We've seen many bald "mac crash" symptom presentations, but these have been

traced to a *wide range* of causes:


--  the MacOS "too many temp files" problem


--  incorrect VM setting


--  bad font; bad font manager


--  insufficient RAM


--  opening file heavy in bitmaps and/or audio (these decompress into RAM)


--  bad trackball drivers


--  video driver acceleration



The above are the causes that have come up most frequently, and is

certainly not an all-inclusive list! Try the Mac troubleshooting technotes

to walk through the diagnostics.
