Subject: {FLASHER} Grrr... Site loading issues.

Ive been told by a few people that this site:

www.penguinx.org/discofish/main.htm

loads super slow in Flash 4. Bear in mind it was written for and by Flash 5.
I do not know the validity of the few statements... Anyone care to check it
out, as I have no problems with it? The SWF is less than 18K so I don't know
what the problem is...

Hi Chelle (and others who mentioned this),

Sorry that things have been a little slow. Flasher has been running on
Majordomo, which doesn't do a great job of handling all the bad email
addresses that build up on list servers. Basically I had to go through all
the bounces and delete bad email addresses by hand.

Lyris now handles that automatically but it takes a few days to sift out the
bad email addresses from the list. That cycle has just finished and delivery
times should improve dramatically over the next day or so.

We will, budget allowing, be substantially increasing capacity within the
next few weeks. Hopefully the new list features will make everyone's life
easier and the additional hassle is worth the wait.

Thanks for everyone's support...talking of which, if anyone is interested in
sponsorship of the list or has contacts who might be, we're all ears...
