I agree, Too many people these days tend to over design websites particularly
when using flash and I think the Gabocorp site is a good example of this. The
new features in Flash 3 have allowed people with limited design skills to
create "wizz bang pop" websites that although look dynamic and exciting
actually have very little design sense or intellectual content.

just wanted to add my 2 cents-

Almost every website I've seen using flash is an overdesign of what

could be but you

could say that about anything.Would people go out of thier way to get

the plug-in

if they were not going to see some eye candy or something unusual .I

think the Gabo

site is close to perfect, not to much and not to little, thats why

its probably done so well.

 Actually I personally am not a web designer I just create graphical material and Flash
is in no way for people with limited design skills Its a blank screen when you start no
clipart ,no nothing.Pretty even playing field for anyone,"certified designer?"or not
