For what its worth, I heard nothing but baaaad experiences with aftershock.

Hate to say you

might want to give it up, but you might wana give it up. Aint worth the hassle

if your running any animations

besides real simple 2 frame buttons. Aftershock runs the file as a java applet

and is soooooo sloooooow

it will probably turn away viewers with more negativity than your site probably

deserves. Now its my

opinion, but you should probably try having a "shocked" site(plug-in required)

_AND_ a plain html site

with still graphics or traditional small gif animations. Aftershock is about as

uncool as Flash3 is cool.


Of course this is my opinion from the majority of problems posted on this list

about the use of aftershock

and a couple of horrible experiences trying to view aftershock on other sites.


Remember that you can negatively advertise for yourself as you can positively.


Most people that I read about on this list gave it up. To much time envolved

for what its

worth. On completion of our corporate site we will have a regular html version

that simply

"sells" the plug-in.


Anyone else agree.
