I was in a similar situation, waiting on my new Flash to come in, and I 

had some luck on one machine by setting the date back a month.  It 

confused some people with weird message dates, and my emailer then sorted 

all the new messages a month back, but it worked long enough.  It didn't 

work on another, newer machine, though.
