Hi all,

First, almost no one will upgrade their computer to get better Flash
animation performance.
Second, there are lots of upscale markets on the Web but few are
defined by having the latest and fastest computers. Your target audience
for most commercial Web pages is rarely related to that audience having
the latest and fastest computers.

These categories tend to have fast and powerful computers:
Art Designers (who use the computer in their design work)
Computer Game Players
CAD/CAM Engineers
Computer Professionals

Also, remember that many of the above might visit your site with a
clunker even though they may have a faster computer elsewhere at work or
home.
But, how many will revisit your site if they have a disappointing
experience even if you warn them (most likely a very small percent).
