Hi,
I'm running out of ideas regarding the successful execution of Flash
movies in Powerpoint. This is a real shame as it gives enormous added
value to Powerpoint and opens up some great possibilities. My problem is
that a movie will always reset to: 'playing =false'. I've inserted a
Play Action at the start of the movie, but (assuming that I've done it
correctly) this seems to be overriden by the Shockwave Flash Object
within Powerpoint, which is resetting to 'playing =false'. However, if I
don't embed the movie in PPT, the Play Action is recognised. So this is
a workaround of sorts.
Someone within Macromedia must know about this as they presumably wrote
the code. So you MM guys on the list - you may not be Powerpoint experts
but you must know somebody who is and who can help me out on this.
Regards
