Flash export

This problem is driving me totally crazy... was wondering whether anyone

else has ever had a similar experience. 


I have a movie with button actions that take the user either forwards or

backwards. Within Flash, as i'm creating and testing them, they work

beautifully... but as soon as i export the thing, no backwards movement.

I'm using the goto scene & frame for the backwards motion. I've tried

reloading Flash thinking that it might have been a software fault... but

still no luck. Any suggestions, thoughts? similar experiences?
