Hi Alma,

What you want is a loading routine called Wait-for-Frame in Flash 2 and
'If Frame is Loaded' in Flash 3. My Wait-for-Frame Tutorial ia at the
Flash Tech Resource under 'Optimization, Streaming, PreLoading and
Wait-for-Frame', there are also two articles that help explain it in
Flash 2 terms. I am doing an updated Tutorial in Flash 3 terms but it is
not complete yet.

My question is, wouldn't you rather have a Wait-for-Frame like the one
at http://www.FlashCentral.com than the ones you mentioned?
You can't see the one at FC?
That's my point!!!
A Loading routine shouldn't shout please wait, it should blend in and
only be exposed when Web conditions are worse than normal.
Most Flash movies can and should be be designed without a 'Loading' or
'Please Wait' sign. The viewer shouldn't be made to think he is waiting
even if technically he is.
