Sending events from Flash to Authorware

Hello all...


I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. 

We have been building some interfaces using Flash to use as a front end for

Authorware programs.  


I am using Flash 2.0 with the Asset Xtra from Macromedia. When I set up the

Flash movie interface  to send an event from a button using 'Get URL' in

the action and using 'event:someEvent',  everything is fine.  I am

attaching the action to the button by selecting the button in the Movie and

choosing Modify > Element adn then selecting Get URL from the action menu

in the Link Properties:Button dialog box.


However, if I then add a sound to the over- or down-state of the button, no

events are sent to Authorware.  The variable 'EventLastMatched' is null.

If I remove the sounds, everything is fine. 


Can someone suggest what I am missing here?
