Hiya Carrie,
Why dont you just use "load movie" with no images, only holding soundtrack in
the swf to do the above?
Have a action keyframe at the end of the movie(when it finishes loading) and
assign the action to "unload" soundtrack movie.
This will do exactly what it sounds like you want without the hassle and error
probabitlies of FScommand.

The new "load movie" and "tell target" features in Flash v3.0 should be able to
cover anything trying to be done between 2 different swf files and FSC.

Anyone disagree?
