To create a movie clip inside a button, you need to create the animation you
want the
button to do as a movie clip symbol. Then create a button symbol. Edit the
button in the
library and drag the animated movie clip from the library window into the
"up", "over" or
"down" state of the button.

It all really depends on the design and purpose of the button.

Note: that you can only see the animation of the button by "test scene or
movie".
It can _not _ be viewed in the authoring enviroment.
