Is anyone out there experiencing this same
problem:
In detecting user's plugin capabilities, I have found that
Aftershock (even the version shipping with
Flash 3) doesn't
really know the difference between the
Flash 2 plugin and
the Flash 3 plugin. It your flash movie is Flash 3 for
example,
and the user has Flash 2, then it still tries to stream the
Flash 3
movie, yielding unpredictable results--sometimes a blank
screen,
sometimes just audio but no animation. This is the
source i believe
for a lot of people mailing this flash list and others about
"what
happened to my plugin?" problems where they think their
version
of the plugin is messed up.
how can we detect the flash 3 plugin
specifically???
