Subject: Flash Timer Tutorial

Hi all,

Part 1 of my tutorial on making a Flash Clock is now on display at
http://www.AHREF.com/, an online Magazine for Web Developers. This
tutorial allows a newbie to recreate the timer but hopefully offer
something to all but the most experienced Flash 3 Flashers.

Part one shows complete step-by-step instructions for creating the
graphics and Movie Clips to get a Timer working. There is a graphical
tour and work FLAs, as well as a complete FLA on the Timer. In Part 2 of
this Flash tutorial (to be published later this summer), I'll cover how
to add the Start, Stop, and Reset buttons and explain in more detail the
concepts of Tell Target and Movie Clips. We will convert the timer to a
more accurate timer and then a Clock similar to the one at
http://www.FlashCentral.com/Clock/

Four.Fla is used in 'Creating a Digit' and
MovieClip.Fla is for the next section 'Adding Animation'
Timer.Fla is a complete Timer including buttons.
