Hey folks,

I've spent the last three months of my life at Zoecom developing this

website for Fashionhouse.net and Niki Taylor using Flash, RealAudio and

RealVideo, and loads of ASP (Active Server Pages) generating our articles,

calendar and BBS system.


We're doing a soft-launch this week, where we're inviting friends and

associates to check it out and give us feedback.  I'm pretty happy with it

overall, but am still tweaking here and there for better performance over

28.8.  It's not that bad now, but it'll get better.


One of the things that is driving me crazy is Netscape always reloading and

re-reloading pages for no apparent reason.  Does anybody have any advice on

minimizing this?  All of the submenus, where the circles fan out and you

see Niki on the right hand side, are having this problem in varying degrees

only over 28.8 connections.


Don't flame me for this, you idealists out there...  but for best results,

use Internet Explorer!  Give me a break though, I just switched back to

Eudora (actually paid $$$ for it today...) from Outlook Express today!

This is a Phase 1 website, with a fair amount of work to go.  We'll be

starting two more sites for Fashionhouse this year using this same

technology... refining our system as we go.  If you have any suggestions

about the design, implementation or business model... I'm all ears.

development skills.
