Hi Changhsu,


  When you lay down audio in Flash you will see  how long the a sound

bite is on the timeline, so you can easily plan your graphics and where

to begin or trigger the next sequence. If you only need to tie a voice

over generally to it's coresponding graphics then use Event. But if you

need a close relationship with the individual animation in its

coresponding sequence use stream. 


Stream - When Stream is assigned to a frame of a button or the timeline,

the designated sound will start playing as soon as the playback head

enters the designated trigger frame. The differentiating characteristic

of the Stream event is that it will cause the sound to become the

critical timing element for playback of the .swf file. That is to say,

if a sound is set to stream, frames of the animation will be dropped

(skipped/not rendered) in order for the animation of the movie to stay

in time with the playback of the designated sound.


> On compressing audio, should I import as 22/16 and let Flash compress it or

Human sound is quite complicated and you should try it both ways and

experiment with the settings in Sound Edit and Flash for a sample

segment. Once you get the smallest size for your minimum acceptable

quality, duplicate the steps for all the other segments. Different

voices may require different methods for best results.
