If your having problems with that procedure - try this: Open the .fla

file with the symbols you want to use. Then open the Library window. (On

a PC, it's Window, Library).


Then open your new .fla file where you want to use the symbols and you

should be able to drag the symbols into frames from the Library window

you just opened. I've done it this way before - good luck!

Is anyone else having problems importing libraries from a FLA file into

a

new Flash movie?  When I open a new file and click File>Open as Library>

and then select the file I want to import, nothing happens.  In Flash 2,

a

library of the files symbols opened up immediately.
