Subject: 3D text Matinee Site

I think If you zoom in to the spinning text on matinee's site you will see that they used
the 3D Studio Max Image as a template or guide and did'nt import it at all as any
form of dxf file. They might have just traced each bitmap from the exported 3D file.
I think they rebuilt most of the text in flash and there was probably very little of the
original 3D Max file left. Try Cool 3D if your just looking for a simple way to
bring 3D text into flash I think this will work OK but you have to play with the image
quality and file size and it is still really 2D frame by frame.

Heres a quick Cool 3D into flash example it took about 15 minutes ,please remember it
isnt optimized or cleaned up so its 55k but I think with a little work you could cut it in
half http://www.meanrabbit.com/meantest.htm
