I think If you zoom in to the spinning text on matinee's
site you will see that they used
the 3D Studio Max Image as a template or guide and did'nt import it
at all as any
form of dxf file.They might have just traced each bitmap from the exported
3D file.
I think they rebuilt most of the text in flash and there was probably
very little of the
original 3D Max file left. Try Cool 3D if your just looking for a simple
way to
bring 3D text into flash I think this will work OK but you have to
play with the image
quality and file size and it is still really 2D frame by frame.
Heres a quick Cool 3D into flash example it took about 15 minutes ,please
remember it
isnt optimized or cleaned up so its 55k but I think with a little work
you could cut it in
