Yep, you're right. MIME types are defined on the server so that they
can send the correct HTTP header to the client (so that the browser
understands what it's supposed to do with a particular bit of data).
You should contact the webmaster for your host and ask them to set up
the MIME type for Shockwave Flash. If they refuse, or try and charge
you money then tell 'em to stuff it. It's hardly a huge task...
