Sorry about getting in late on this thread but.... Is there another
process in which to create a screen saver other than with CINEMAC?
Furthermore, is it possible to use just Flash as the development tool,
and not be limited to importing Flash 2 docs in to Director to create SS
via C CINEMAC?

I had the same problems in detecting a mouse -move event inside
a movie
too when I tried to create a screen saver using the ocx in VB.

Even when I fiddled around with the API I still couldn't get it
to work.
Either the program quit as soon as it started, or it totally
ignored any
mouse events at all (even right click)
