i can relate to your querie, because i ask myself this all the time:

you can create compelling content in flash without sending your left brain

into spasms of pain;  how far you want to wade into territories of tell

target and swamps of scenes is entirely up to you.


first, get your feet wet and find your creative ground with flash.  when

you want to learn more, this list is a wonderful resource and cyber

community.  there are plenty of people here that operate on one or both

sides of their brains (and some who don't operate on either, natch ;-)!)


don't let the programming stuff overwhelm you.  with every version, flash

just has more of something for everyone, designers and programmers alike.
