Make sure you:

A) Deleted the layer containing the bitmaps.

B) Went into the library and deleted all of the bitmaps after you were done
tracing.

C) Did a Save As after you performed the two previous steps. For some reason
if you don't Save As, the file remains large even after you have deleted all
of the bitmaps.
