nah, doesn't work. IE doesn't support the javascript property
navigator.plugins[] - i've worked around it by cannibalising some old
aftershock code. you can't even detect mimeTypes, because IE's mimeTypes
array is set to empty and can't be changed. It's a bit of a problem, but if
you still have aftershock installed (as i do) then you're probably best
using it, despite the fact it gives out heavy ugly code......
any more ideas?

You need to test for the plug-in in an onload event. Use the check plugin
behavior and type the name of the Flash 4 plugin. Easy.
