I downloaded the Using Flash 4 .pdf file. The Tutorial in Chapter 1 refers
to a file named "Tutorial Finish.fla" and a file named "Tutorial Start.fla"
in the Flash application folder. I searched for these files, but I don't
have them. Does anyone have these files or know where I can get these files?

Thanks,

Supe

I agree! I was looking for a book last weekend and found NOTHING. You might
want to check out the .pdf file on the Macromedia website that I posted in
my previous email. It's a good starting point.
I also found an interesting tutorial at hotwired's webmonkey. There is an
Intro and Advanced tutorial on Flash3, which can also be applied to 4. Check
out http://www.hotwired.com/webmonkey/98/25/index1a.html

You can navigate to the Advanced tutorial from there too.

Does anyone have a list of their favorite Flash tutorial sites that they
would like to share?

When I first started using Flash, I too looked for some books that
would help. From what I could find out the only ones around for Flash
3 really didn't say much more that the manual. I learned the most
from online tutorials. There are so many generous people out there
who have web sites devoted to helping us understand how to use Flash.
Download files and tear them apart to understand how effects were
achieved. Then you can adapt what you learn to your own problems. I
think that Flash is one of those programs that you learn best by
experimenting. And you never know, your experiments may lead to an
effect that no one has ever done before.
