Option 1) use streaming on the main timeline. provide enough empty frames
for the waveform to display completely. Have the action continue after the
frame that shows the end of the waveform;

Option 2) put the streaming sound in a movie clip. give it enough frames to
show the entire waveform. after the waveform ends, have a frame action:

TellTarget (target: /)
End Telltarget

Put this movie clip on the main timeline and put a stop action in the same
frame. When the movie clip is done playing the sound, it will signal the
main timeline to continue playing.

Option 2 keeps your timeline more compact.
