There are probably more / better ways to do this, but what I would do is:
Set Variable "loaded" = 1 - in your movie that is to be loaded in
level1
Then wherever you want the call put:
If (_level1/:loaded = 1)
Play
Else
Load Movie ("your.swf", 1)
End If
