John,
Thank you for that checkout.

Since the 2nd page has the small version of the movie in exactly the same place
as the first page, I wonder if IE5 is declining to reinitialize it?

The first page runs the movie in the body and then re-invokes itself
switching the
movie to the top left corner. The second pages just invokes it in the top
left
corner.
