Subject: FLASH: virgin flasher

i'm just getting into actionscripting in flash and i have
a particular project that i'm trying out.
essentially, i want to be able to create a pretty
elementary sound sampling interface. using a visual map
of some sort--think subway map, i want to allow the user
to create his/her own sound compostion by hitting
different areas of the map. i still want to retain simple
actions like dragging in/out, and stuff like that.
does anyone have an efficient run down of how this can be
accomplished? if at all possible, and i'm that even if it
user's computer sytem sounds?

thanks
fangirl
