It sounds like your Alpha tween for the text MC is broken, and
that the only thing that is registering is where the tween starts
and where it ends, nothing in the middle. Maybe try checking your
layers and see if there are no other extraneous symbols interfering
with the tween at the start and the end of it, and then troubleshoot
it by seeing if you can get the text MC working by itself first.
A motion tween won't work if there is more than one symbol at the
start and/or end of the tween.
