I don't really get what this tool should be for. The only thing you have to
do on a mac is to change the "Show Files" dropdown to "Show All Files" then
you can open PC *.FLAs on a mac.

The biggest problem when working cross platform (besides the usual problems
like different gamma values) is working with fonts. If you dont have the
fonts available on both platforms, i'd do all type stuff either on the mac
or on the pc (when it comes to fonts i'd prefer mac though). from my
experience it does NOT work to convert a typeface with a program like
fontographer because kerning and baseline values a sometimes not
transformed correctly.

Besides that, there is no problem working cross platform.
