Subject: Re: FLASH: Detect mouse position. Causing trouble with buttons.

Thank you Thosch,

Actually, that is a great suggestion, but unfortunately in this case the MC
is not invisible (as it normally is).
www.buzzpod.com/site (this is not live, simply a test.) The Orange cross
hairs are the MC in question.
When the user moves about that MC plays various reactions and feedback. But
this movie clip only blocks some of the buttons. (if you click on the pod
nothing happens, even though the pod is a functional MC)

If anyone has a solution in mind for this problem, drinks are on me (even if
I have to Fed-Ex them) :)
thanx
Jason.

P.S. I know that if need-be, I can create a loop within the crosshair MC
that will monitor the position of
"on click" and transitively update that way. Problem being, this site is
very young. Onced finished the city will be highly navigable( i.e. it would
simulate moving down streets and viewing districts and areas of freely
navigable space. ) If can do that with independent buttons it would be
easier to maintain for me.
