Chris has given you the obvious. If they are in contiguous channels, you may
not be seeing a skip, per se, but a bit of a flash. Add a 'set the
stagecolor=the stagecolor" in your enterframe script. Sometimes, if a QT is
set Direct To Stage, you get a bit of persistence of the image and a stage
redraw fixes that.
